Free Character Trait List for Writers

A basic list of character traits for writers to print and put in their workspace.

Here is a list of character traits that I've found useful in my writing. This list can be used to get you thinking as you begin to define your characters. I actually find it most handy when I need to write a throw-away character like a shop clerk or waiter. You can throw a few traits into the character to provide some color and dimensionality.

This list is by no means exhaustive. Please add your own traits to the list.
