Role-playing Games

In the gaming community, there are a great number of role playing games available. Unfortunately, to make a real-time first hand role playing game cost in the millions of dollars. This limited the number to a mere handful. The NewWorld3D control opens up this field. Using the control, a developer can focus on the content and interaction, leaving all the complex graphic work to be handled by NewWorld3D.

Training

A world could be constructed to demonstrate a process in real-time. Perhaps a virtual tour of a plant indicating safety areas. The military is using 3D simulations to train their troops. NewWorld3D makes it affordable for local fire departments and police forces to simulate situations they may encounter in the field.

First-Person Games

Almost everyone has played a game like Doom or Duke Nukem 3D. How would you like to create one? For these games you have been able to slightly modify the levels, sound effects, and characters. However, you needed a great deal of technical knowledge, numerous utilities, and a love of command line modification. Once you were done, you had created a slightly modified game that took other users of sophistication to even play.

NewWorld3D is a complete 3D environment that runs under Windows 95. With the purchase of your control, you have a royalty-free license to produce completed applications with it! Release your games as shareware, give them to your friends, or sell them yourself! The NewWorld3D control gives you the ability to create and share the game you worked so hard on.

Educational

Do you want to create a new world to aid in learning?  How about a flying "spelling bee" that takes you through the alphabet using digitized sound files? Or a little professor that shows the library filing system by taking you on a tour of the library? The three dimensional aspects of the world you create will take your students there and will increase their retention because they will be experiencing the world that was created.

Explorational

Would you like to tour a museum? A world could be easily created to shown the famous paintings on the wall or sculptures in the room. Because NewWorld3D is a control, the world could appear in a single frame of the a web browser. Another frame could display a high resolution picture of the real work of art as you approach it. A third frame could contain a complete description of the work as well as links to related sites!

How about a completely new world that currently lives only in your imagination? Or creating a walk through simulation of the Land of Oz that Dorothy made famous. You could create the characters that populate that world to do anything you want and even interact with the explorer. Explore your dreams!
