8/15/98 - Beta testing begins on the all-new NewWorld3D engine with non-orthogonal walls, varying ceiling and wall heights, scrolling textures, and more.

4/15/98 - NWX Visual Editor that allows visual browing of NWX files and importing bitmaps.

4/13/98 - Manual update includes all commands for NewWorldDB + updated examples + new sections.

3/15/98 - New update to version 1.1 that contains NewWorldDB (NewWorld database), a small (~40K) client side database to track creatures and other values in a world.

2/20/98 - Posted downloadable Demonstration application of NewWorld3D demonstrating maps, creatures, etc.

2/17/98 - Started NewWorld3D forum for information, questions, suggestions, and feedback for NewWorld3D.

1/26/98 - Released Map Editor 1.01 to solve some problems with header file creation.

1/22/98 - Posted new update to NewWorld3D for registered users includes streamlined installation.

11/29/97 - We've added some new screen shots of many creatures marching, dancing, etc. The first revision of the Example Code Library is up where samples of code implementations for worlds can be found.

11/24/97 - New screen shots page with thumbnails. New animated GIF shows simple world. Multiple poses for each creature in the world are added to the sample files.

11/12/97 - The new map feature which shows an overview of the current world now updates the location of the creatures if you want. A new property allows the creature display to be turned on or off.
